No pain, complete gain, so
let's talk about the new you!

Today is YOUR day...

When I tell you, “No”, I’m really saying, “Yes” to myself.

Mental Health is about self-care. It’s about time we learn to put ourselves first. So, put yourself first and take time for healing and self-exploration.

My name is Shanna Gardner, LPC. I believe the counseling process will help you identify effective strategies to cope with difficult situations in an open, supportive, and confidential environment to address the issues concerning YOU!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have a Master of Education in Counseling from Texas Southern University in Houston, TX.

I have been in the mental health field since 2007, my experience includes counseling children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have expertise in the areas of depression, anxiety, family issues, couples counseling, crisis intervention, substance abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

Some of the work I have done has included working with children, adolescents, and adults in my private practice, residential care setting, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and inpatient hospitalization programs. I also have experience in individual and family treatment plans and an understanding of the DSM V diagnostic criteria for substance use disorder and mental health disorders.

I stem primarily off a Cognitive Behavioral Approach, However, I am here to help anyone in need and can adapt quickly to the style that is required by each individual client.
